Structural Engineering Internship
An Intern will have the opportunity to work with and learn from experienced Professional Engineers. The duration of this summer internship commitment will be approximately 12 to 16 weeks during the months of May through August.
Essential Functions
- Participate in the field by assisting with hands-on failure analysis assignments
- Driving to/from job sites with a forensic engineer
- Assist team in a variety of other assignments, as needed

Required Education and Experience
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering
Other Requirements
Valid Driver’s License in good standing and demonstrating good driving habits consistently and capable of being insured by our company policy.
Position Type/Expected Hours
This is a temporary full-time position for the summer. Some flexibility in hours is permitted, but s/he must be available during the standard work hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Physical Demands
This position is a combination of sedentary work, with some field and travel-related work. An employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, reach, type, talk, hear, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, push, pull, carry, and lift. An employee may also be required to drive, traverse wooded and/or uneven terrain, enter structures, use ladders, walk on roofs, enter small spaces, and work in various weather conditions.
Travel
There may be some travel required in this position.
